Learning Oucomes

The project’s learning outcomes have matched its objectives as follows:

  • Develop awareness of the value of European cultural heritage and its link to SDGs 2030​. This goal was set for all the six modules of the project.

  • Foster democratic participation. The students were stimulated to express their opinion on several topics related to the main theme of the project but also to current issues, to debate with their mates and to think critically and divergently.

  • Stress the importance of taking action and making an impact. The pupils were asked to concretely contribute to make the link between cultural heritage and SDGs 2030 clear and to support actions to promote it or to do their best to promote it personally.

  • Strengthen the sense of responsibility in attaining set educational goals. During the implementation of the project student-centred approaches were used and the pupils had to actively participate and to take responsibility for their learning.

  • boost 21st century skills and competences to enable students to get ahead in today’s society. The students were involved in activities that allowed them to improve their critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, time management, team-working skills and collaboration skills.

  • recognize the value of soft skills and validating them. A certificate was issued at the end of each mobility where it was specified the learners had acquired the specified skills.

  • improve foreign language knowledge and competent use. The second language (English) most of the students (a partner school was from the UK) study at school was the language of the project and the pupils had to use it throughout the implementation of the project thus having the opportunity to practise all the four skills. They also learned the basics of the other languages of the project, above all during the mobilities.
