The teachers are 60. The subjects covered are Romanian, English, French, German, History, Geography, Mathematcis, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Social Sciences, Computer Science, Art, Music, Physical Education. More than 85% of our graduates attend a wide range of higher education institutions after high school, either in Romania or abroad. Our school has been involved in a large number of European projects, starting with school exchanges, eTwinning and epals projects, and continuing with Comenius bilateral and multilateral projects and, more recently, with Erasmus+ projects. We are open to activities promoting cultural heritage, and communication and exchanges of ideas in multicultural environments. We started school exchanges in 1994, with our partner school from La-Roche-sur-Yon, France, then continued with participation in the Rouen Theatre Festival promoted by La Littoralité Francophone and the Villette Classes at La Cité de La Science, Paris, up until 2007. In 2008 we started a school exchange with Gimnazjum 2 in Pinczow, Poland, which continued and became a bilateral Comenius project in 2011, “Oil and Stone Do Mix, talk about nature, learn a language”. At the same time, we took part in a multilateral Comenius project “How Europe works with work. Let’s make it our business” which involved partners from Italy, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. These projects took place between 2011 and 2013 and were followed by the two Erasmus+ projects: “Concept, Cooperation, Creation” and “The Art of Economics, the Economy of Arts”. All these projects meant that a large number of students participated in a wide range of cultural activities promoting communication and an exchange of ideas, values and traditions. eTwinning activities involved working with students from other countries on the creation of an e-magazine with monthly issues, each country contributing articles for various sections. This application will involve three English teachers in our school, three Computer Science teachers, Romanian, History, Economics, Mathematics, Music and Art teachers, because all their expertise is required. All of them can coordinate groups of children on school visits and coordinate practical activities and workshops. As can be see more than one teacher from each area will work in the implementation of the project so in case one of these persons should leave their post in the future, they will be substituted by colleagues already involved in the project.
